What Trade Flagger Does
Trade Flagger is a signal detection system that monitors financial markets 24/7 to identify potential trading opportunities based on well-established technical analysis patterns.
We use a combination of price action analysis, technical indicators, and multi-timeframe confirmation to detect setups that historically have shown edge. Each signal is scored based on setup quality, market conditions, and tradeability.
How Strategies Work
Pattern Detection
Each strategy has specific conditions it looks for: compression in price (volatility squeeze), overextension from averages (mean reversion), pullbacks in trends, etc.
When these conditions are met on the 5-minute timeframe with 1-hour regime confirmation, a potential signal is identified.
Signal Lifecycle
Signals progress through states: Candidate (setup detected), Armed (price in entry zone), and Triggered (entry conditions met).
This progression helps you prepare for opportunities rather than chase them.
What a Signal Includes
Entry Zone
A price range where the setup is valid. The signal activates when price enters this zone.
Invalidation Level
The price at which the setup is no longer valid. This defines your potential stop loss.
Target Zones
Suggested take-profit levels based on structure, with typical R:R ratios of 1:2 to 1:3.
Every signal has a clear invalidation level. This is non-negotiable. You should always know exactly where a trade idea is wrong before considering entry.
Scoring System (0-100)
Every signal receives a quality score based on four components:
How clean is the pattern? Compression ratio, z-score depth, boundary clarity.
Does the signal align with the higher timeframe trend/range?
Spread acceptable? Expected move vs costs? Active session?
Near key levels? Multi-timeframe agreement? Structure support?
Built-In Risk Management
What We Check
- •Spread filters: Signals suppressed if spreads exceed thresholds
- •Session awareness: Lower scores during illiquid hours
- •Cost modeling: Expected move must exceed trading costs
- •Invalidation required: Every signal has a defined stop level
Signal Expiration
- •Signals expire if not triggered within the valid window
- •Invalidation cancels the signal immediately
- •Outcomes tracked: win, loss, expired, invalidated
